RAW file Pipeline option

Hi!

My AV Receiver is located on wire at my LAN.
My BD Player is also located at LAN..wired ;-)

In my opinion, it's senseless to re-encode a mp3 or a mkv file for a device, which can do it itself, you understand me?
Look at the attached jpg for the senseless traffic.

It's playing actually a stereo mp3 file encoded with LAME 3.98.4 -V 0, 249 kbps avg.
The UMS blows traffic out of proportion.

I'm scared to watch a 1080p dts movie over ums ;-)

Here is my request:

Can you implement a "raw file pipeline" function, like Samba use. All the receivers and players are build to reencode itself a stream.
Nevertheless the gadgets with imdb plugins etc. are funny :-)

There is already a no encoding option in the TRANSCODE folder which will stream the file as-is.
