Option To Mark Files After Viewing By Directory

Hi, I was hoping it would be possible for the program to add a tag to the filename if a particular file has been played before or not. I would suggest to allow the user the option to apply this feature by directory so that you can have it tag TV shows for example but not your MP3 collection. This feature would allow for easy deletion of TV episodes that have already been watched. I saw that there is a new feature in development which creates a *new* folder however marking the files after viewing them would give the user the ability to do a search on the directory and optionally delete the ones they no longer which to keep through Windows Explorer rather than have UMS make the decision on what files to delete. I think this may be an easy-to-implement elegant solution.
