@jaapie18 Do you mean that PS4 support DTS ? Because it is not specified anywhere in the PS4 manual...

This is taken directly from the official Playstation Media Player support page (http://manuals.playstation.net/document ... mat_m.html):
- MKV
Video: H.264/MPEG-4 AVC High Profile Level 4.2
Audio: MP3, AAC LC, AC-3 (Dolby Digital)
- AVI
Video: MPEG-4 ASP, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC High Profile Level 4.2
Audio: MP3, AAC LC, AC-3 (Dolby Digital)
- MP4
Video: H.264/MPEG-4 AVC High Profile Level 4.2, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC High Profile Level 5.2 (PlayStation®4 Pro Only)
Audio: AAC LC, AC-3 (Dolby Digital), LPCM
- MPEG-2 PS
Video: MPEG-2 Visual
Audio: MP2 (MPEG-2 Audio Layer 2), MP3, AAC LC, AC-3 (Dolby Digital), LPCM
- MPEG-2 TS
Video: H.264/MPEG-4 AVC High Profile Level 4.2, MPEG-2 Visual
Audio: MP2 (MPEG-2 Audio Layer 2), AAC LC, AC-3 (Dolby Digital)
- AVCHD (M2TS, MTS)
- XAVC S™ (MP4)

So, there is no support for DTS or better formats so far, I assume that problem lies in licensing policies. And the problem is wholy on the PS4 side, not in the UMS.
There is support for DTS in PS4/PS4 PRO, but it's limited to playing DVD/BR discs.

@jaapie Are you kidding ? or you've never read your manual ?
It never did: http://manuals.playstation.net/document ... types.html
It's just that UMS encapsulate it in a LPCM stream.

So, just apply the same settings into your renderer's configuration file if you want the same result, as none of use have a PS4 to test it.
And post your feedback, so we could add these changes to the PS4 configuration file.
