We removed plugin support in 7.6.0 but if we keep getting feedback from users that it was still useful for them we might add it back (you're the second one to mention it)
Have you tried putting VLC in your system path? It should be picked up from there

How to disable resume option for Samsung TV?

I got 2 TVs UE40F8000 and UE46F8000 both connected to UMS on my PC. After 7.6.0 version I don't know how to disable it.
If some video file (mkv) has been played on first device (e.g. UE40) and stopped on titles moment in the end of it, the second TV (UE46) will start this file right from the moment it was stopped by the first device.
Option "Enable video resuming" is disabled. How to solve this problem? Should I downgrade the UMS version?

I don't need autoresuming at all. Never used it and wanted it.

Thank for reply.

If you dropped Plugin support, I suppose you had a good reason.

About VLC, I use VLC, just like JAVA, as "Portable", using the Portableapps format. Because of that, I didn't tried putting the VLCPortable's folder in the %PATH%.
I modified the BATCH, adding the VLCPortable folder to the %PATH% just like the JAVA that launch UMS, and VLC was detected.

Thank you!
