Universal Media Server | Forum

The Universal Media Server project has been officially launched.
This server is based on PS3 Media Server by shagrath. It is actually an evolution of the "SubJunk Build" of PS3MS.
Our goal is to improve upon PS3 Media Server while focusing on stability.

The first version is expected to be released for download within the next week and will offer many advantages over the last release of PS3 Media Server including a True Motion feature that works with any TV, much faster transcoding and more!

First congrats for the initiative.

Why did you created a fork instead of improving the current server with all the features those features?

Appreciate the teams past work and looking forward to what's to come. Definitely an application I could not live (happily) without. Can't imagine what I would have done these past years.
