Memory leak with Java 9

Post by N3phastus » Thu May 10, 2018 9:55 pm

I usually would leave UMS running nonstop, but now with version 7.01, after 24 hours running, using it or not, memory goes up to 4 GB and CPU up to 80 / 90 % !!!

Did you build in a bitcoin miner in de latest version ???

Please fix it ASAP

cheers

Yes, it is a problem in 7.01. Actually it was happening in earlier versions as well but just not as bad.
The issue is already known and the subject of a few other threads and the team is working on resolving the issue.

I run UMS 24/7 on a Gentoo Linux headless server. I found that turning off caching, whilst not stopping the issue, prolonged the time until UMS crashed.
My solution was to run a cron job every 2 days to restart UMS.

The memory is leak while the installation of the process is very active but it does not allow the user to follow the part so you need to find out that Java 9 is working or not though dell printer support will help you to find out the answer
