Windows 8 bug - browsing UMS shows nested root folder
Windows 8 bug - browsing UMS shows nested root folder
I noticed something but I don't know if this affects the functionality of UMS (I can't get google music plugin working so I haven't tested it).
I am running the server on my Linux machine. In Windows * I can see UMS in the "Network Location" list under My Computer. I have another UPnP media server and clicking this lets me browse the folders like normal.
However, when I select the UMS, I get an infinitely nested "root" folder.
Like I said, I don't know if this affects functionality from actual DLNA supported players, and I can see more under Windows Media Player and foobar2000, but it's probably something that should be looked into.

I would love to update my Server to 2012 and run some VM's for Sandboxing just for this reason...
