[Tuto] New icons
[Tuto] New icons
Hello,
In my opinion, I find the default icons of UMS ugly and old.
So, I redesigned and changed to modern icons.
May be some of you want to do the same?
Here my icons redesigned:
Screenshot for Linux Ubuntu (bottom panel):
Capture on a Samsung TV:
Instructions:
- Download new icons (zip attached)
- Close and quit UMS
- Browse to your UMS folder
- Open the ums.jar and browse up to: /resources/images
- Drag and drop the icons downloaded uncompressed to ums.jar in /resources/images
- Close ums.jar
- Start UMS and enjoy moderns icons
Screenshot of instructions (Linux but same steps for Windows in my opinion):

Re: [Tuto] New icons
For UMS v9.x, the panel icon is missing for Ubuntu 20.04. There is just to copy paste the file icon-22.png to icon-24.png and follow the instructions.
