Hi all, i just installed UMS 8.1 and i am having issues setting up shared folders. UMS is showing up on ps3 on the tv which is good but there seems to be 3 or 4 standard folders showing.? I have gone into the UMS on my pc, i clicked on the shared folder icon as that's all there was,as i was expecting a + symbol as the ps3 media server had one.I then proceeded to go to the files/folder on my pc that i want to share to ps3. I clicked on a folder and it shows upin the bottom box area on my pc. There is no save function that i can see so i assume it does it automatically. I then went to the tv but there is nothing showing.
I then repeated the same again on the pc but i then restarted the server, but this makes no difference. While i am doing all this the tv is on and iUMS is open. Any suggestions as to what i am doing wrong, please. I had been running ps3 media server but stuffed it up somehow so thought i would try UMS.
