Picking Up Other's Renders

Post by Me-Hostage »

This is probably a simple yes or no question. Anyways, I live in a duplex and just got new neighbors, and UMP is picking up renders from their TV and PS4. If they use the media player say on their PS4, can they see and play my files?

Are you all sharing the same network? If yes, you may try to control UMS via https://github.com/UniversalMediaServer ... d-Security , but that should be the less of your worries (they may also have the ability to pry into your machine files as well... and viceversa)

Weird... as for DLNA to work all devices need to be on the same segment. Post logs according to viewtopic.php?f=9&t=556 for better help
