Is there a way to stream vr videos to an android phone with a vr headset?

AFAIK only VLC video engines used by UMS support it for now, but it will not be upgraded to 3.0 version before some more UMS version, so patience... ;)

VR videos are normal videos in terms of codec. So you should be able to stream it via UMS.

I think yes, you should. First, a distinction should be made: 360-degree videos, often just called 360 Videos, can be viewed with Cardboard and other VR headsets, but they’re not quite the same as VR videos. That’s because proper VR videos add the illusion of depth.

Most video playback apps that can connect to DLNA/UPnP servers are supported, on iOS and Android
