Cambridge Audio 752bd

Post by Triplefun »

I have created a conf file to support this magnificent device. I have made reference to Mediainfo. Everything plays OK except FLAC for which there is a known UMS problem. FLAC files can currently only be accessed through the Transcode folder. I have one minor issue and that is some of the mp4 files as displayed on the 752bd do not have their duration and resolution set - this is probably a metadata issue rather than anything wrong with UMS.

Flac fixed with ums 3.3.0. Also I set mp4 and m2ts as 'no transcode'. The 752bd seems to support most file format natively.

Please can you add this config file to the standard release. Also, please confirm the configuration does 'pass through' (no transcode) on all file types.

I can't get UMS (OSX) to work properly on my CA 752BD.

Both UMS and player are updated to latest version.

When I open Network and click on Universal Media Player my music folder does appear.
But as soon as I try and select a song the player displays the "root network" folder again.
