Hi,

it seem that QSV activation is a total mess...
Try these 2 command lines:

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files (x86)\Universal Media Server\win32\ffmpeg64.exe -init_hw_device dxva2=intel:N -init_hw_device qsv@intel -hwaccel qsv -i "C:\Users\Nizar Saabira\Downloads\jellyfish-55-mbps-hd-hevc.mkv" -bufsize 3300k-maxrate 3300k -b:v 3300k -c:v h264_qsv -preset:v faster -look_ahead 0 -pix_fmt yuv420p -level 41 -c:a aac -ab 320k -ar 48000 -f mp4 test_qsv.mp4

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files (x86)\Universal Media Server\win32\ffmpeg64.exe -init_hw_device dxva2=intel:N -init_hw_device qsv@intel:0 -hwaccel qsv -i "C:\Users\Nizar Saabira\Downloads\jellyfish-55-mbps-hd-hevc.mkv" -bufsize 3300k-maxrate 3300k -b:v 3300k -c:v h264_qsv -preset:v faster -look_ahead 0 -pix_fmt yuv420p -level 41 -c:a aac -ab 320k -ar 48000 -f mp4 test_qsv.mp4
(where N is the index of the Intel graphics adapter for D3D9)

And, please, report back if any of these worked for you, and if not post the screen log as well. Thank you.

hi sami i've tested out the last ps4 pro config you posted here a quite sometime ago on the media server 8.0.0 rc1 i could watch my 4k videos and others under lower resolutions like 1440p very well if you could perfect it a little bit and put a thumbnail so when the media server recognize the ps4 as a pro instead a regular ps4 i would appreciate i wonder why this is never happened yet the console has been on the Market since 2016 even after 3 years i don't see any version that shows the pro as is supposed to be with the proper render configurations for it.
