Mysterious "Ghost" Media Renderer, Samsung E+ Series

Post by qualitymade88 » Sat Oct 21, 2017 9:33 am

I'm seeing a mysterious Samsung E+ Series television listed as one of the available media renderers on my Status tab, complete with an IP address. This is strange because I don't have any internet capable TVs on my home network. I thought perhaps I have a neighbor who might have found some way to gain access to my wireless signal, but can't seem to find any other trace of this machine on my home network. Has anyone else experienced this?

Don't worry, it's only a wrong detection from this bad renderer.
You can disable it, enable only your renderer or set a white IP list to avoid it to happen, as explained in our FAQ and our Wiki.
