Sony Bravia XG9005

Hi,
I have a new 2019 49" Sony Bravia KD-49XG9005 (Android TV)) with Oreo and am really struggling to get consistent performance (either files stop playing part way through, pause or I get "cannot play video" type messages), it appears to be unknown so I have tried using the Sony Bravia XD/XE config file with varying degrees of success.
I also have my old KD-49XE9005 (Also Android TV) now in another room (although this is still running Nougat as I have not gotten around to updating the firmware).
I have uploaded a log file for the XG here https://www.universalmediaserver.com/fo ... 526#p39526 but in the meantime I thought I would ask a general question about the XG performance or if I need to use a different config file and not the XD/XE one, for some reason lots of files the XE can play I get "cannot play file" errors with the XG or I get either pausing video or crashing playback with XG using UMS with either a default renderer or the XD/XE one.
Interestingly the XE in another room which is on the same network works much better, plays all files, doesn't pause or stop playing halfway through videos. Both TVs are on a hardwired on the same gigabit network (although the TVs themselves only have 100Mbps ports).
Cheers,
