See UMS in a smartphone xperia arc s with android
This is the only way that i can see any video in my xperia arc s.
I've tried with the UMS 1.4.1 beta version.
First download and install from google play in your smartphone Bubbleupnp
Second download and install UMS, open and select General configuration, at the end in advanced Http and system settings in default renderer when automatic detection fails choose "Unknown renderer", and click to enable force default renderer.
In settings and share, check that the option Hide/ transcode /folder is unchecked. Save and Restart media server.
After that open Bubbleupnp go to device and should appears universal media server, choose it, and go to library select the folder when your video is found and choose the folder transcode, you shoud see some files with differents options choose the file with the name "no transcoding" it's the only that it works. Choose play and select diceplayer or mxplayer to view the video.
Note: Never choose android.conf it not works.
