Samsung BD-H6500 BR/DVD Player

Post by ps3msuser »

So,

I just recently replaced my PS3 with this player (had to move PS3 to basement)

I've got a library of ripped DVD's in .ts format that will not play on the player - well they play, but only for a few seconds, and the audio is -way- off. After a few seconds, it will start playing the next movie on the list... (with same results)

Any assistance here? (also the thumbnails look terrible compared to the PS3 and my Sammy TV)

Attached is the media info a movie that is typical in my collection (all ripped the same way)

Also, if this container is not the best (transport stream) What would your recommended re-encoding method be for these files? (and continue to work on PS3 as well)

while .ts format is supported by most of Samsung blu ray players. But according to your situation you are not able to run that format easily. Thus, try to install TSmuxer as it convert it to BR file structure to burn and play as a BR disk. It will not re-encode,just make it BR compatible. Or check Samsung Bd-h6500 Manual for more options and troubleshooting steps. Hope this might help you. :)
