[Samsung UE32K5570] Playback out of sync when transcoding

Post by php »

Hi community

I have a frustrating problem with my TV Samsung UE32K5570.
Streaming supported video files is working just fine, but if I want to play a video that UMS has to transcode the following happens:
Video starts and plays about 2-3 seconds, then the video flickers with some artifact and the audio falls back to the beginning, then the video resumes without another stutter or something like that, but the audio is now 2-3 seconds behind the video.

Does anybody know about this problem and how to solve it?
I have a second TV from Philips and there is absolutely no problem with transcoding a video.

The J series also behaves in this way when trying to transcode.

No-one has come up with a solution

That said, the J series plays almost all formats natively. Maybe the same goes for K series

About half of my videos are 10-Bit encoded, so it can't be natively streamed to the TV >_>

I do have the possibilities to use a seperate streaming client (notebook, tablet or I can try using my PS3) and connect with HDMI, but I prefer using as less devices as possible.

Are you sure? Did you try the "[No encoding]"-Option in the transcode folder?

Sorry for the late answer.

Yes I tried everything, including the no encoding option.

I tried again and again until I finally gave up. I bought a second philips tv and made my mum a present by giving her the samsung tv.
The philips tv does extactyl what it has to do.
