@nickhere, Out of time for now, the 'd' version *should* fix endgadget (works for me). On genesis it's only a partial fix apparently. I tried some TV shows, e.g. 'parks & rec', which were working (depending on the source, of course) but on 'avatar' I got the same results as you. I haven't looked at apple podcasts, fox news, etc.

it look like the stream is sending but not responding on tv.

Version 'e' is up, with yet another bugfix :) .

Also I had been in Linux yesterday but tested in Windows today and got endgadget+genesis+itunespodcasts+foxnews+crackler all working after some manual repairs to the Kodi addons folder, which had to do with missing dependencies caused by an incomplete manual install of the gotham version of urlresolver and some other addons.

Here's the basic repair procedure for anyone experiencing similar issues:

Part 1: Repair urlresolver:
  • Install the youtube addon in Kodi.
  • Open up your Kodi addons folder (located at %APPDATA%\Kodi\addons).
  • Install (or re-install) these addons (download latest from the gotham addons page and unzip to your Kodi addons folder):
    • script.module.urlresolver
    • script.common.plugin.cache
    • script.module.parsedom
    • script.module.simple.downloader
    • script.module.t0mm0.common
    • script.module.simplejson
  • Restart ums.
Part 2: Repair any other missing gotham addons similarly, if you see lines like these in your jumpy.log's jumpy-xbmc load section (using @nickhere's log as an example):
jumpy-xbmc version 0.3.11c
...
Error: script.globalsearch not found.
Error: plugin.video.ustvnow not found.
Error: script.tv.show.next.aired not found.
Error: script.artwork.downloader not found.
Error: plugin.video.vimeo not found.
Error: script.extendedinfo not found.
Error: plugin.program.super.favourites not found.
Error: script.module.pysqlite not found.
Error: script.module.sqlite not found.
Notes:
  • Some of these may need to be downloaded from the addon's home site.
  • You can also copy these addons from your %APPDATA%\XBMC\addons folder if existing, though these may not be the latest versions.
  • It may take several iterations to complete the repair, as the new addons may have missing sub-dependencies.

Thx, but it's not necessary to send videos, your logs show the errors well enough :). I'm mostly concerned here with whether jumpy is delivering the media links correctly to ums. If you have transcoding problems with specific renderers, that's a separate issue.

I know the render is a seperate issue.
What do you want me to check and log.

I been looking at jumpy code. YOU really did a lot of work. Well appreciated. Since there are so many addons for kodi i may endup trying to enhance it. Like adding auto downloading from the repository and installing the add on + add on checking to see if the base site is ok. On a side note i recently purchase a pogoplug pro http://www.adorama.com/COCPOGOP02.html it has some type of linux built in. It might be possible to run UMS on certain models of it. With that and a jumpy interface i would not need to install kodi
