You are probaly right. The CR is from SVT Channels only matches whatever is there and it might get an extra CR in there. Take a look at Kanal5Play I know there are lots of CR in there and see if you have the same issue.
Don't underesitmate the power of UMS. We can already swap spaces so CR's will be possible shortly...
For a quick test you'll have to build yourself. Which branch do you prefer? 4 or 5?

Seems to be the same problem with TV5. I think I have always had that problem TV5 but I haven't cared about it since I'm looking much more on SVT. But now we might finally have found the reason also why TV5 never worked.

I'm not very good at building myself (although I finally succeded with the ffmpeg needed for my Ubuntu server) but if I have to try then I would prefer #4. Maybe I can first give the regex in the svt.ch a try (as a temporary solution) and see if I can get rid of the <CR>. I succeded with this for the "/" problem and I guess I can more or less copy my old patch.

Ok I added new charmap specials to UMS.
If you add

Code: Select all

CharMap=###n ###e ###r ###e
to the render conf all should work like magic :)
I'll post a new jar file somewhere.

So, meanwhile I tried a fix in the svt.ch file that skips initial and ending carriage returns in a title. And vola - it works.

Edit: Updated the svt.ch file to fix more than two <CR> in a title.

My appologies to those (8) who downloaded my temporary svt.ch. It worked for some media folders but not for others. I found out that the reason is that some folders have more <CR> in the title which I didn't cater for. It is corrected now (with an uggly solution that simply trunkates after the third <CR> if there are more).

pen - the new stuff is in the newly released 4.1.2 so just install that one and add the config. If it works I'll add it permanently to the samsung confs...
