Tested this release on up to date x64 Arch Linux and it work great, making it my every day version for my laptop and pc.
Stream movie with or without sub and/or transcoding and all went well.
Music and picture too.

I'm testing UMS on Arch Linux with the included Java installation, but it requires a few changes to work.
I opened an issue on GitHub with my changes (#1835)

Indeed, if I remove my java package installed from my distro you need to edit UMS.sh because it does not find java.

The latest version of Universal Media server 9.0.0 does not install the plugin folder to be implemented in Windows 10. Is there no longer that possibility, or is there another way to activate them? Thank you

Plugins are not supported any more. But support was dropped some time ago.
