Sony Tablet S (Tegra2) renderer issue
Hi to all.
I posted the same support request in "Renderer" section, but seems that nobody could help.
I try to post it here (hope for more luck)
I hope that someone can help me to build a .conf for my Sony Tablet S (first release, Tegra 2 chipset).
Almost all files in my video collection is in .mkv container with H264 4.1 High Profile video.
Basically the issue is that the Tegra 2 chipset is unable to decode (smootly) H264 High Profile 4.1 stream. (this seems to be a well known Tegra 2 limitation).
Even if I copy one of my file locally on tablet and try to play, it shutter.
If I recode a file from H264 High Profile to H264 Main Profile (without any other changes), everything works fine and smooth.
I tried to identify some custom encoder settings (starting from Android.conf) in order to force the H264 transcoding in main profile, but my knowledge on this kind of matter is not strong enough.
