Does the pictures have the same aspect ratio as the TV? You can't expect the pictures to be stretched - or do you simply mean that they aren't properly resized to fill either the height or the width?

That's supposed to be the responsibility of your renderer, not UMS. You give very little information, please post debug files as explained above so we can see if there's anything abnormal going on.

When you say "pictures", do you actually mean pictures/images, or are you referring to video?

Hi Vitalii,

I guess that you have that issue only for a specific renderer ? which one ?
If you could post a photo of your TV with an example of picture that give you issue, that should help us to understand better what exactly you are talking about.
Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks, that helped to see that you are having pictures size display issue with your Samsung LE40D550 renderer.

1) Do XBMC, VLC, WMP...display them correctly ?

2) What is the original resolution of BUS.jpg ?
As i don't see that you've reproduced your issue into your log...we miss all the informations, AFAIU.

EDIT: Could you try to disable all the renderers except the Samsung CD, from the GUI General Configuration tab, and add this line into your UMS.conf in your profile repository ?

Code: Select all

chromecast_extension = false
Just for eliminate possible interferrence between renderers.
