[Solved] UMS Uses all buffer while scanning folder then crashes

Post by ultrasuperman »

I have v7.0.0 and the first time I boot up UMS I notice the memory usage slowly go up while it scanning folders (takes about 7 minutes) until it hits 742mb then UMS freezes and I need to open task manager and close Java. I have everything defaulted and it works fine on the second boot, it's just something in the first boot.

This is something we are working on, where the memory doesn't get freed as it should. It has been a bug since v5 but now everyone is seeing it because of the initial scanning added in v7

This should be fixed in 7.0.1
