Adding network hdd as media source
Hi.
I have usb hdd connected to modem/router and configured
USB port: Enabled
USB Network Storage Function: Enabled
DLNA Media Server Function: Enabled
The drive is reachable on any network device like TV, smartphone etc.
Is also possible to explore this network drive by windows file explorer.
Unfortunately its not possible to reach this network drive from UMS add shared folder menu.
Some one of you may ask why UMS if you have DLNA server on LAN network, - its WEB interface that i need.
How to add this network drive to UMS?
Please help

Re: Adding network hdd as media source
You need to give UMS a way to reach it, that depends on how it's mapped to your system. You could probably add it in WEB.conf using an URI if you have one, but the easiest way is to "map network drive" in Windows so that you assign a drive letter to it. Once that is done (make sure it's a persistent mapping that will be reapplied upon reboot), you can add it as a shared folder in UMS the way you share any other folder.
