New router causes UMS streaming to stutter

Post by nouse »

Dear Forum,

you once helped me with a subtitle problem, i hope you can help me again.

My old router (Fritzbox 3370) broke and was replaced with a Fritzbox 6490, which is a modem + router, so my old modem had to go as well.

Since then, UMS started to get really slow with my new router (which is supposed to be a technical upgrade), when streaming from PC to TV (via LAN, 1 Gbit to Router, 100 Mbit to TV)-
I tried a clean re-install of UMS, but it didnt help.
Are there settings i can adjust?
I attach a log where i rendered a file, which was flawlessly rendered with my old router, but is now rebuffering every 5 seconds.

/edit:
I reduced every port of my router to 100 Mbit. This fixed the rebuffering. It seems that the fritzbox received 1 GBit from UMS but couldnt send it to the TV.
How can i handle that differently? I already set the maximum bandwidth to 90.

What about to try the "Use automatic maximum bandwidth" ?
