Thanks for the screenshots. Are you using the pre-10.15 build of UMS, or the 10.15 one? It looks to me like you are on the pre-10.15 because of the old version of MEncoder.
Can you please try with the 10.15 build? I know you are on 10.13,but it is something to try.

Hi,
I have installed pre-15 version because on 15+ version Mencoder is unavailable (it says unknown error).

I've solved, selecting a True Type font in Common Transcode Settings -> Subtitles settings.
It seems UMS couldn't find a default font.
