Hey, I had the same issue for a long time. I could stream the hightest quality 1080p with HD-MA but at some point I just couldn't do it anymore. My playback would just stop (logs would indicate something like "streaming stopped") and I had to pause for a minute and unpause and it would stream for 5 minutes until the problem reappears.
I'm using a Hackintosh with an Intel 3570k running on Mavericks 10.9.2, 16GB and a gigabyte connection. I couldn't really find anything helpful on this forum so here's what worked for me.

I did try a lot of things but it would never work. I finally decided to setup everything so there would be no transcoding and no bandwith problem.

So what I did is

- install the latest version of Java 7
- in the General configuration tab I selected my ethernet adapter on "Force Networking on interface", entered 0 for "Maximum Bandwidth"
- in transcoding settings tab, I first went to "Common Transcode Settings / Video Settings" and put 200 as Maximum transcode buffer, disable subtitles, chose Automatic Wired for Transcoding Quality (MPEG-2), chose Automatic for Transcoding Quality, and then entered *.ts , ts , *.m2ts , m2ts under Skip Transcoding for the following (will explain this in a second). In "Common Transcode Settings / Audio Settings" i chose 6 Channels for maximum number of channels, checked "use LPCM" and "Keep DTS Tracks" and unchecked all the others. Haven't touched AC-3 reencoding and Language priority.
- In Video Files Engines I only chose to use tsMuxer. I check "Force FPS parsed from FFmpeg"

Now, I also found that muxing my MKVs would really work well with that configuration (hence the skip transcoding for *.ts , ts , *.m2ts). So I downloaded tsMuxer GUI and I convert to TS all my MKV. No options to configure for me, I just drop the MKV and press Start Muxing.

It seems tedious but since I've set it up that way I had no issue what so ever. No lag, no pause, no out of sync. Probably half of the things I did there weren't necessary but I got tired of testing again and again and failing.

Here are screenshots pour que tu puisses mieux comprendre ce que je baratine depuis tout a l'heure ;)

Good Luck !

Paul

EDIT : I only mux high quality 1080p DTS files. I have no issues with 720p. By muxing the files and tell UMS to not transcode, the computer will just stream the file and not decode/transcode it.

OK here I am Its not working with ps3 streaming corrupted data dont know why it should read ts file or not IDK. and on my wd tv live device the easiest way is to put the file on external had disk and ply directly from it. but my point is my ps3 can support 24bit 192hz and wd tv live up to 24 bit 96hz I mean audio part. but still I ve configurated like you said , but I dint test it yet on wdtv live. I ll tell you more tommorrow.
