Scan function when using Cache option
I have read the documentation on using the Cache option in UMS, but I am unsure what is supposed to be happening when I click the little hourglass, after enable the Cache.
I assumed that hitting that little hourglass is supposed to scan the folders that I have added to UMS, so that the information from the files found in those folders can more readily be accessed during playback and stuff. The thing is, when I click that hourglass, UMS seems to be scanning my entire hard drive. This takes an obscenely long time.
Is that supposed to happen? Is it supposed to be scanning everything, or just those folders I have shared in UMS?

Re: Scan function when using Cache option
The scanner (should) look(s) only in directories defined in the configuration! Check if the GUI write the correct value in conf file!
Search for the key:
folders =
Maybe you have some strange value there...
Bye!
