Avisynth/mencoder not working

Hi,

When I try to use avisynth/mencoder with the LAV filters I get the following error on my ps3 : 800288E1

I have tried a lot of things, but nothing has helped so far. Who can help me?

I have noticed that avisynth/mencoder only works with some movies and it it doesn't work with others. On my server I have ums 1.50 installed.

Does that video play on your computer? It's likely it is corrupted in some way so MEncoder can't read it

All videos i have, they play on my computer. I can transcode all videos with mencoder but not with avisynth/mencoder. The main reason i tried to transcode my videos with avisynth/mencoder is because i'm looking for a way to transcode my videos with no heavy cpu load. ums is installed on a hp microserver with a dualcore 1.5ghz and this give me stuttering while i'm streaming videos.
But i think there's a bug in avisynth/mencoder?

It's hard to tell without a full debug.log but the next thing I would try would be to make sure your computer's codecs are in order. I recommend uninstalling all codec-related things, restarting the computer, installing k-lite mega with the "lots of stuff" option, restarting the computer, then trying again.
