We should start to solve the issue step by step. Please switch off other renderers on your net and let only the KDL-70R550A to be working, not use your custom conf and send the log. I see that there is a problem with the recognition.

Thank you for your assistance. I have shutdown everything else and am using the default file that is for a Vizo tv and when I go to the folder it freezes still.

I made a .conf for your TV. It should be updated after testing. Please try it and send the log.

Thank you. I have added it. I had to delete the vizio tv one as it kept defaulting to that one. Now I can open the folders but the files are not listed. I just see the subs and transcode folders but not the movie files.

UMS is still using wrong renderer.conf (not recognises your TV). Please try this new. You not need to delete Vizio-SmartTV.conf you can simply select renderers at the General Configuration tab and let UMS recognize only renderers you have on the network. This minimize the false positive recognition.

I cannot connect to the server with the last conf file. What I do see is that it loads the correct icon for a second and then it goes to the default icon. It is using the one you gave me though.

OK. Try to change the

Code: Select all

UpnpDetailsSearch = Sony , KDL-[0-9][0-9]R(5)[0-9][0-9]A
to

Code: Select all

UpnpDetailsSearch = KDL-70R550A DAD TV

What is positive that the renderer is recognised but you made a mistake. You wrote

Code: Select all

UpnpDetailsSearch = KDL-70R550A DAD TV SeekByTime = true
but is must be

Code: Select all

UpnpDetailsSearch = KDL-70R550A DAD TV
SeekByTime = true
To prevet UMS to not use the default icon please change

Code: Select all

RendererIcon = braviar.png
to e.g.

Code: Select all

RendererIcon = braviaw.png
I prepared this conf with the icon for the next UMS release but for testing it of course doesn't work.
Here is the updated conf.

Thank you very much. I have added the file and can get back in now but still have the same issue with some files not being seen. In this sequence I went to 3 different folder and only 1 saw the file inside of it. I am getting a kick from my 5 year old each time I shut down the wireless to only test the TV goes nuts about how her tablet isnt working lol.
