Have you tried to transcode the movie on the ES7000? I suspect that one of the samsungs are "smart enough" to use the srt file it self while the other gets it "burned" in by UMS. If that works I would suspect that the ES7000 don't like the code page the srt file is sent in (either UMS sneds it as UTF-8 when the ES7000 expects CP1254 or vice versa).

I just did "Save file" when the browser asked my and I got the srt file yes...

I'll try to transcode it. Should I change the line of SamsungAllShare.conf file

Code: Select all

TranscodeExtensions=flv,wav
to:

Code: Select all

TranscodeExtensions=flv,wav,mkv
and removing mkv from?

Code: Select all

StreamExtensions=
Also it is weird that both ES7000 and ES5500 handles these Turkish characters correctly when playing the file from USB. It only happens when using DLNA.

I finally solved the problem with your last file and selecting the encoding as Turkish in my TV's settings solved the problem. God I haven't noticed there was a setting in TV before. Thanks for all your helps.
