Directories used for re-encoding

Post by ragexzero »

Hello everyone, I'm new here.

I searched for this before I made the thread, but found nothing, so bear with me.

I want to know what directory/s UMS uses for re-encoding and remuxing content. I have a solid state drive for my OS and it has a low amount of storage and also I'd like to limit the times it's used for reading/writing, seeing as these HDs have a limited lifespan.

If the temp directory where re-encoding is done, is on the C: drive, I'd like to change it to another drive if possible. How would I accomplish this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

It is done in memory so no temp files for transcoding ;-)
