Lost Unicode subtitle specification

Post by chermesh »

Hi,
Sorry for not following the forum instructions.
Here's the updated request for support.
ums_dbg.zip
(122.28 KiB) Downloaded 482 times
I've update my UMS to ver. 6.1 using the clean install option and lost all my original configuration.
I managed to fill all needed information, but when reached subtitle codepage specification, failed.
My mother language is Hebrew and all my Hebrew subtitles are in Unicode format.
How do I specify the needed format in UMS ver. 6.1?

"Clean" means all configuration will be lost. Due to this it is not checked by default.
If your subs are UNICODE, there is no need to use CodePage as it is used only in case subs are not UNICODE so UMS knows from what CP it should be converted to UNICODE.
If I remember well - defined empty line means AUTOMATIC which should be used if automatic works for you.
What exactly is your problem? You don't see Hebrew in CP list or what?

Exactly, my problem is that I see illegible sign in place of Hebrew.

I tried going back to UMS 6.0.0 and to 5.5.0 (keeping the same configuration) and nothing changed, Hebrew shows a series of illegible signs.
