subtitles on tv

Hi

When i set my tv on 16:9 or full zoom i see on subtitles.
When i set my tv to auto than i see subtitles but the screen of the tv have 2 horizontal black band.
Why can't i see the film in full screen with subtitles

Hi,

It seem that you have forgotten to follow the @Sharkhunter advice while producing your trace log, meaning that your log is useless. See here:

Though it seem that's only related to your TV configuration choice and view taste.

That's said, your very deutch specific renderer is not recognized by UMS. You should try this one:

In my opinion this is expected behavior. Usually movies are made for a cinema screens that are wider than 16:9.
So it's very common that movies played on TV have the black bars. And yes, most would probably prefer to have the subtitles outside the picture.
I guess you could suggest making it optional if subtitles should be inside or outside picture
