6.5.2 Java 8 bug

Post by jrandall1149 »

I am serving MP4s from my PC to my Samsung smartTV. The the MP4 lengths shown on the TV are 1 or 2 seconds; the fast forward and fast rewind do not work; the step forward and step back do not work; and the video terminates after a few minutes. This behavior is on most but not all of my MP4s. No bad behavior with 6.5.1 Java 8. Trace file attached. Repeatable when switching between 6.5.2 Java 8 and 6.5.1 Java 8.

Hi,

Could you send me "FATHER_BROWN_3.1.mp4" sample ? or the more little MP4 of your samples.

net.pms.dlna.DLNAResource File "FATHER_BROWN_3.1.mp4" will not be streamed because the H.264 level is unknown.

I will send when I have the opportunity, BUT the very same video works perfectly with USM 6.5.1. So there is likely a bug in the way USM 6.5.2 reads the H.264 level compared to 6.5.1. Is there a way to send just the MP4 header info because the file is too big?

Sorry, i posted the anterior message to the wrong topic...(deleted)

Could you send your MediaInfo text file informations for the video called "FATHER_BROWN_3.1.mp4" ?

It'll be much easy for both of us ;)
