Ok here are the new logs, the subs worked under AVC. I noticed disabling subs then resuming video under AVC, throws the video out of sync. Is there any way to get 6.60 to detect the correct engine when it plays sub related videos? As I already know AVC isn't good with subs. ffmeg works better when resuming and disabling subs I found on 5.13

Yes. Have a try and post your new log, thanks.

But the GUI don't give the "Defer to MEncoder" same infos, that strange. But never mind, try it and i will see in your new log.

Sorry, our posts "crossed".

I have difficulty to understand you. What you call "AVC", or H.264, have nothing to do with subtitles support but anyway, i'll check your log.

1) "AVC" ==> solved
2) Subtitles display ==> solved
3) Out of sync after resume ==>

My goal here is to get UMS 6.60 to play the same way 5.1.3 does. Would you like me to post logs from 5.13 also?

Try that one:
UMS.conf

Don't forget to select your subtitle font as already explained before.

It's seem that MEncoder is used, also when i totally disabled it. So i guess that trigerring is done for text subtitles, except ASS/SSA, because it's hardcoded. I never checked about that, and though that it was possible to override manually. It seem that i was wrong.
