Hi daagman,

You should try to disable all your firewall in your PC for testing purpose, and it's work fine you'll need to correctly configurate your firewall.

If your still get issue, you can always post here the link of your log in Google Drive or any free ads and free access Website like WeTransfer.com or any of your convenience.

i opened the firewall for ums but still nothing. i noticed the debug says the speed connection to the blu ray player is 8.5 Mb/s but actually it should be 100 Mb/s...

You have a UPnP issue:

What the exact model of your Sony Blu-ray Player ?

About your bandwidth speed, you should disable the "Use automatic maximum bandwidth" in the "General Configuration tab and set it manually, as the ping process for estimate the bandwidth can be inacurate if not correctly configurate.

it's a sony bdp-s790 but it worked once upona time. i reinstalled ums in order to reset all paramaters becouse the video was lagging during the streaming after i reinstalled windows, then it stopped working. i tell you that the bd player is connected with a powerline connection to the router but it shouldn't be a problem because when i connect a laptop where the sony is usualy plugged it shows a 100 mbps
