Subtitles issue

Post by Altemicia »

Hello UMS

I'm having trouble displaying subs as I want to.
Is it possible to display both french and forced french subs at the same time ?
If not, how shall I do to set the priority on the 'regular' french subs ?
Because when I play a video with both french et forced french subs, 9 times out of 10, it's the forced subs track that is displayed.

Thank you :)

Hello Altemicia,

Only one subtitle external/internal display is possible at the same time.
About subtitles configuration, you should click on the green link in my signature and read our Wiki ;)

In case you need more help, just follow the forum rules write in red above your post.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that external subtitles have priority, except if you disabled the option, of course.

Oh, ok.
By external you mean a separate file with a .srt extension ?
My problem is, in a video with both subs encoded (forced, and regular), UMS always display the forced by default.
I need the S: FR [fre] (subrip) (French) to be displayed ^^

Yes, external mean a separate subtitle file.

Please, follow the forum rules, as i don't really understand what you mean by "Forced", your log will be very useful. Don't forget to name the video file streamed that give you issue, it'll help check at it faster.
