UMS appears to have deleted all my media files

I upgraded to the UMS 7.0.0 b2 from 5.0.0. I started it up, pointed it to my media folder, on an external drive, and went to work.
I came back, to try to watch my favorite shows, and they are all gone.
Please help.

There is the setting for "Fully played action" which moves files to trash after they are played, but that setting is not enabled by default. Which operating system are you on?
