UMS unable to add files

Post by allo »

Hi guys,
I have installed UMS and have it configured. PS3 can see all the folders but every one of them is empty. PS3 claims 'no titles to display'. Checking the log file on UMS I can see the following errors when I try to add media

Code: Select all

Same error for each file added. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Would love to get this media server up and running. I've attached the debug too

java.lang.Error: Invalid memory access - Have I not allocated enough memory to UMS? I have set it to it's default

Hi allo, try doing a clean install to reset the settings, and don't worry about using the scan folders button if you were, we do it in realtime and I have been thinking about just removing that button anyway

Hi SubJunk, have tried a clean install but still no luck. Have left the configuration as the default settings but none of the files appear on the PS3..

Sorry I thought I had attached the log file with the original post. Thanks for taking the time to look at this. As I said, ps3 picks up ums it's only when I select the folder my video files are in that it says 'no titles to display' or somtimes it prompts a dlna error. Any help would be appreciated!

For some reason, MediaInfo can't read your files. Does running UMS as administrator help?

Had lost hope and uninstalled it the server but saw a new version was released. Now it's working with no issues! No idea what has been changed but it has done the job without any configuration! Happy days!
