Missing Tray Icon in Kubuntu 15.04

Post by grey_alien »

Hello everybody,
I'm using UMS since 2 years. I've used it in Kubuntu 13.04, Ubuntu 13.10, in Ubuntu MATE 14.05 & 14.10 and now I've installed the new Kubuntu 15.04. :ugeek:

I've noticed that, if UMS is set to be minimized to tray, the tray icon is not visible. Everyone also had this issue? :?: Now I'm starting UMS without minimizing to tray :cry:

:idea: O.T.: for everyone who wants to autostart at boot UMS on Kubuntu 15.04, it's simple. You have to copy, in the folder /.config/autostart/, a file containing:

Code: Select all

#!/bin/sh
cd /home/YOUR-NAME/PATH-TO-UMS
sh ./UMS.sh
:arrow: Remember to set the file as executable!

It seems not a problem directly related to UMS. The system tray icons in KDE Plasma 5 are not working as the older releases...
