[MAC] error transcoding with external .srt subtitle

hi guy, i follow this project by 2 years, and now i have many problem.

i try UMS (5.2.1) with java 6, 7 and 8, but is the same, on OSX 10.8.5

i try a video 100% compatible with PS3. the same video in previous version of UMS (maybe before 5.0.0, but i'm not sure) work fine with external subs and transcoding.

now

1) ffmpeg cannot transcode anything with or without external subs. anything. (error 800288E1)

2) if i ask "no encoding" in transcode menu, it work fine.

3) same file (with or without external subs) with mencoder work fine

4) another file (100% compatible and previously played) in hd (720p) with external subs is impossible to play. with ffmpeg error 800288E1

5) same video of 4) example, with mencoder "error HTTP (-2147284704)"

i have no idea, i try to erase all preference but is the same.

in attachement 5 different trace log, one for each of the 5 cases that I have listed

any idea?
