DVD playback
For some reason trying to play a dvd from the harddrive on my tv does not work. The content of the folder is shown as title 1, title 2 etc.
But trying to play it only gives me a black screen for one or two seconds and then returns to the folder content.
I am running Mint 17 and the Java 7 version.
I can start Windows 7 in a VM and run UMS (also Java 7) and that works just fine.
Am I missing a certain package in Linux?
Right now I can't produce a logfile for domestic reason. But maybe someone knows what is going on.
Thanks in advance,
Tonne

Re: DVD playback
Here is a TRACE log with hopefully helpful information.
My DVD folders and/or .ISO's still won't play on Linux.
Again TIA and merry Christmas
