Samsung-CD.conf on linux - not so good for wav-files

Post by newbietux »

I've problems to play WAV-files from my UMS-server on linux-host with my Samsung C-Series TV-37C6700. The files are noiced and not good to hear. I don't know if it important - but I had created the wav-files in the past by converting from mp3.
The UMS recognizes my TV with the renderer-file Samsung-CD.conf.

My tests with a own renderer-file for Samsung C67000 in particular to play music files shows following changes are helpful to play some not known formats with transcoding to MP3 by the ums-server:

Code: Select all

# Supported audio formats:
TranscodeAudio = MP3
Supported = f:mp3   m:audio/mpeg
Supported = f:lpcm   m:audio/L16

StreamExtensions = mp3,avi,3gpp,mp4
TranscodeExtensions = flac,ogg,aa3,dts,wma,wav
This is my own renderer-file
Samsung-C6700.conf
Samsung-C6700.conf
(2.56 KiB) Downloaded 444 times
.
Pleas test it - or test only the music-specific parts. If it got problems with the file please tell me - I want to learn on my mistakes.

Thanks a lot an
