Subtittles cut off even with over scanning compensation

Post by tMH »

I may be wrong here, but I was under the impression that the over scanning compensation feature would also make the subs stay with in the video. I know i can play with the sub margin, and bring up the subs, but that will not keep them from getting cutoff length wise. Also, is there anyway to set up UMS to only use the over scanning feature on my 360? My 360 is the only thing connected to a tv that I can not control the over scanning on.

We used to have that feature but it must have been lost, I'll write it again :)

There isn't, but I can introduce that feature. I'll add that to the to-do list too :)

I just looked and the code is still in there, so I will need your debug.log to see why it isn't working :)

My current setting is Width: 24% and Height: 20%; which is over kill at the moment, but I was just playing around with them.
