Hello, yes I can. All logs, or only trace log?
Thank You!
My TV read more formats instead of listed in http-get. How i can overwrite this? I tried to describe all tested supported format, and
media info = true and
media info = false
Regards!

Create the log as described in red at the top of the page. UMS only supports HTTP-GET.

Hello,

i still can't understand way to make own renderer file. When i start watching the movie, firs engine is ffmpeg (UMS decision), but in transcode folder with manual choosing tsmuxer all works ok for mkv with dts track. I attach the trace logs.
Thank You for attention,
Best regards!

@Vick if you set "Remux video with tsMuxeR when possible instead of transcoding" in the FFMpeg setting page than the FFMpeg even if it is set as the first engine is not used to transcode video but the video is switched to use tsMuxeR. This is the same you choose the tsMuxeR in the TRANSCODE folder. What is unclear in the description "Remux video with tsMuxeR when possible instead of transcoding"?

Hello,
there is bad comunication between the UMS and Sharp DMR. Protocol Info says that the renderer do not support mkv, avi and etc, but that is not true. I think that in this case UMS push to transcode except to manualy choise "no transcoding" from #transcode folder.
The same is happen with avi files, they are always transcoded.
The Sharp renderer can handle lpmc and aac but transcode to ac3, although theese is added to supported formats in conf file...

I will try with "DLNAOrgPN = false" or something and share feedback!
Regards, and thank You!

The reply to GetProtocolInfo is sent by the Sharp and there is no "bad communication" involved there. Some renderers have shown to support some things that's not listed in GetProtocolInfo, but I think it's unlikely that for example MKV is supported without being declared. How do you know that the information is false?

To be clear, this is the information I'm referring to:

If the renderer conf is set properly than video matched supported formats should be sent to the renderer without transcoding. I see some problems in your Sharp-Vick.conf.
The MIME for AVI should be "video/avi" and for DIVX "video/divx". Are you sure that your TV supports all the video and audio formats for different containers you write to the conf? If yes you can simply use e.g.

Code: Select all

Supported = f:avi             m:video/avi
and all AVI files in that case will be directly sent to the renderer.

Can you provide the log with playing the AVI file for which you think the UMS is transcoding it?

Valib, and other members,

i spend a lot of time to learn how work UMS. The most formats in my conf files is tested, but not all. I was tried to write conf file that matched to renderer, and then I test it. For some reassons they don't work, before i set
"upnp_enable =false" in UMS.conf
i think that, nothing of conf file is working...?! Tested! Before that if i set "TranscodeVideo = MPEGTS-H264-AAC" , noting is changed. Now Sharp DMR is like "good dog" , played (directly) supported formats, played with transcoding suppoted format with subtitles, and use tsmuxer when video is supported and audio is DTS..
When i change some settings in dmr*.conf it is work, just for test i try some different transcodings:

# TranscodeVideo = MPEGTS-H264-AC3
TranscodeVideo = MPEGTS-H264-AAC
# TranscodeVideo = MPEGTS-MPEG2-AC3

Now works, before don't.
I just want to provide good feedback, and all togethether here go ahead!
I am too stubborn to give up. I still try to optimise and find best options to UMS go perfectly.
Thank You Again!

ps. Sorry for my english...
