Rescan command?
Sometimes when I add files to a media folder the server doesn't pick up on the change.
Is there autoscan? How does it work?
Can a manual scan be initiated on a running server using command line?
I'm running headless on Ubuntu

Re: Rescan command?
In 7.0.0 all folders that's included as "monitored" is automatically rescanned when something is added to the folder. 7.0.0 currently have some other issues with high memory consumption as a result of the changed strategy, so it might not work well for you.
There is no way to issue a "rescan" command to UMS from the command line. However, also in pre 7.0.0 versions a folder is scanned every time it is browsed from a renderer. That means that all you should have to do to make the new file being discovered is to browse out of the folder and in again.
