Router ports: UDP, TCP or Both ??

Post by mick903 »

Hi, I want to open ports 9001-9002 on my router for server internet access.
Can someone tell me if these ports use UCP, TCP or Both.

Thx for your help !! :)

Are you trying to access UMS from somewhere outside of your LAN?

You have to forward UDP and TCP in your router to the IP of the computer running UMS.
That is if you want access to UMS when you are offsite.

But.... you wouldn't have UMS on the WAN side if you are just using it within you own local network.
