Hehe...that's good to hear :D

2 more tests with the same working video file, if you don't mind, after that i'll keep working on optimization without omitting AMD ;)

That mean that you don't need a USB for testing these 2 files anymore ;)

Great :D

Sadly for you, AMD acceleration is not natively supported by FFmpeg. We are using Zeranoe builds.
But as you already know, a possible implementation of AMF seem to be planned for the end of this year.
So, as i understood that FFmpeg build was you cup of tea ;)

That mean that for now, at the maximum i can perhaps get some decoding enhancement, but i'm afraid that it will be peanuts in the CPU throttling that you meet, so, for now at least, you are stuck to stream only video files having a "standard" bitrate.

I'll see what i can do for this week end, but no promise...

For now at least you can use this renderer, until i found a better way, though i we saw such transcoding ask high end CPU and GPU. The user that say it was fine have an Intel i7 6700 and i don't for his GPU.

Nothing miraculous, it'll only transcode to HD, but you can still view 4K when they are natively supported by your renderer.

Well, lets try Intel optimization, as happily you have an Intel CPU ;)

Note: If the first one work, no need to try the others, but anyway one log will be need.

Hi,

I've tried all the conf. I've put off my amd card (Fn+F7) so i was in hd4000 but sadly the videios didn't work. The only video who worked was the jellyfish 55mbps H264 in HD.

I'll post the log asap

Thank you

Yes, i only saw that after that i've posted it to you:
Because there was a dedicated graphics card present, the Intel Graphics card was disabled by the bios. So I enabled this in the bios first.

Then installed the Intel graphics card drivers.

This still does not work because there is no monitor connected!

If you right click your desktop and go to your screen resolution settings: press the detect button, it will show a screen that's not connected.

Click that and then find the button that says something like: Show device on VGA (I don't know the exact translation because I'm running on a Dutch language system).

At the multiple screens section, select to extend your screens, but ofcourse, keep the screen that's connected as your primary screen, otherwise you'll lose your taskbar and such.

This will force the graphics card to be enabled and send an output to the VGA port, regardless if it's connected or not.

Once this is done, quicksync is available and ffmpeg can use it to encode with it.

So, let's see if your CPU have QSV ability and if it was used while taking off AMD card.

After that, i only see DXVA2 and its sister to try for decoding enhancement, if they work for you.
As you can see, that is not sustainable to be general by now, as nothing is automatic and we need to try which can work for such user.

You are unlucky, QSV is not working for you.

Before trying 2 others renderers with decoding enhancemant, could you try this renderer and check if the video quality is still acceptable to you and if you can stream highter video bitrate ?
